50th Anniversary of JCC

We are beginning a very excting project  to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the JCC of LBI (which will occur in 2011), taping oral histories of our long time members to be included in a 50th Anniversary video along with pictures from the past.

A list of people to inverview is being assembled and we are looking for volunteers who would like to help conduct these interviews.  Nona Abrams & Charlene Gaulton have been looking through the archives and developing the questions.  Marcie Deutsch has done the taping and so far Rosie Starr has been interviewed by Judy Smith and Richard Snyder by Scott Goldstein.  Call the office if you would like to be part of this project.
