High Holidays Services Order Form – Old

Dear Members & Friends:
Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated on Sunday evening, September 25th, Monday, September 26th and Tuesday, September 27th. Yom Kippur begins on Tuesday evening, October 4th with Kol Nidre. It continues and concludes on Wednesday, October 5th.

Last year we returned to the building for High Holiday Services. Once again, this year, we will be worshipping in our beautiful sanctuary with services being conducted by Rabbi Michael Jay and Hazzan Sara Geller. Services will also be available on Zoom. Like last year’s holiday services those on Zoom will enjoy an interactive worship experience. Our policy continues to require those entering the building to be vaccinated. Those coming to the JCC for services who have not recorded their proof of vaccination with the JCC, must send a copy of proof of vaccination(s) (which includes all members and guests) along with their reservation. No reservations will be accepted without this information. Accommodations will also be made for those who feel comfortable not wearing a mask and for those who would prefer a mask only section.

Sanctuary seats are $150 each, and $100 for seats in the Social Hall. Non-members can purchase seats in the Social Hall for $175.00. Zoom is $100 per device for one participant and $180 per device for two or more participants. Sanctuary seat assignments will be sent out via email. A log-in and password will be made available to zoom worshippers and those with in-person seats prior to Rosh Hashanah. On Yom Kippur, the Yizkor and Neilah services will, additionally, be live streamed and require no tickets. You can access Live Streaming on our web site: www.jccoflbi.org. Included in this High Holiday booklet is a section to fill out for your Holiday Greeting to the congregation and the list of your loved ones for the Book of Remembrance (see Order Form, p. 4). Our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services will include opportunities for congregants to receive “honors”.

We look forward to you joining us for the High Holy Days this year. Shana Tovah Umetukah (A Happy and Sweet New Year),

Stu Lehrer, Ritual Committee Chair
